Roman Art from the Louvre in Indianopolis dates
The Indianapolis Museum of Art will premiere 184 works of Roman Art from the Louvre from September 23, 2007 to January 6, 2008. Most of these works have never been to US before so this is a wonderful opportunity. According to Artdaily.org, “the exhibition examines everyday Roman public and private life through different lenses, including religion, urbanism, war, imperial expansion, funerary practices, intellectual life, and family.”
